o1. This Week’s Holy F*ck Moments

  1. Burnout isn't just about your job; it’s about life itself becoming a workplace. The relentless "mental load" and social conditioning to "notice everything" turn your entire existence into a performance of productivity, quietly stealing your power and freedom.

  2. As AI automates tasks, the most valuable human trait isn't a specific skill, but agency—the initiative to decide what problems need solving and what goals are worth pursuing. AI is the "doer," but we must be the "decider."

  3. In an age of infinite information and AI-generated content, taste is the new intelligence. Your ability to discern, curate, and develop a unique point of view is the ultimate human advantage and your most powerful moat against the noise.

o2. Note From Jenn

Welcome back gentlehumans :)

It’s a lower ebb week for me, and among other things picking up my spirits is an improved prompt for our podcast!

In terms of style, structure and quality of output, I have to say this might be the best episode yet. I’m am equally as excited by the prompt improvement (thanks NotionAI) as I am by the higher quality content.

I also have a tangle of thoughts I want to unpack about taste and agency — two major themes in today’s episode. And, my brain says: access denied. The words aren’t wording.

Instead of push for it’s own sake, instead of attempt to perform male-centric consistency patterns, I just won’t.

This is it today.

Maybe the thoughts’ll untangle themselves in time for Monday’s feature essay.

In the meantime, I hope you enjoy this new-and-improved episode. Good prompts matter, it turns out.

And let’s be honest this is still capitalism and this economy is shit (again) so I don’t use paywalls. If you’re in a good position and excited to

make a one-time or monthly contribution,

I’d be super grateful.

I’ll still fucking love you either way.
